We at Coforge are hiring Mainframe Developer with the following skillset:
Responsibilities: Responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our mainframe systems.Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL.Manage and optimize databases using DB2 and Datacom.Create and manage Job Control Language (JCL) scripts for batch processing.Utilize Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM) for data storage and retrieval.Schedule and automate jobs using Control-M.Troubleshoot and resolve mainframe application issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Skills Required: 3+ years of experience in mainframe development.Proficiency in COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM, Datacom, and Control-M.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Preferred SkillsExperience with financial services or banking industry.Knowledge of mainframe modernization techniques.Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
