Inviting applications for the role of Senior Associate, QA Tester! In this role, you will be involved in the full testing lifecycle from requirements validation, test preparation, test execution, test reporting, defect management and post deployment support. ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute test cases on web and cloud-based applicationsPerform functional test, regression test, performance test, automated test on multiple applicationsDevelop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specificationsDocument defects and issues in JiraReview and analyze completeness of business requirementsBuild and maintain acceptance criteria for the user stories based on requirementsEnsure that system being tested meets the functional and technical requirementsImplement test cases, manually or by use of automation toolsVerify applications can run together in a coordinated system environment in a collaborative mannerPrepare test data, simulating real data Qualifications we seek in you:Minimum qualificationsBachelor degree in Computer Science or related field.Experience in Software Quality Assurance capacity or equivalent position with an emphasis on application system testing.Experience working in an Agile environment / methodologyRelevant industry experience in manual functional testing of highly sophisticated systems composed of multiple coordinated applicationsWorking understanding of different SDLC modelsCapable of working thru vague specifications and coordinating with relevant partners to acquire transparency on requirementsCapability to optimally relate how technology fits into business operations and/or strategyRequires excellent written and verbal communications skills with a background in technical communications.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAble to multi-task and manage multiple projectsProven software testing foundations (test case design, test execution, bug investigation, bug tracking), and other test methodologies Preferred qualificationsBackground in automation testing with the ability to write test scripts.Experience in API and performance testing using JMeterExcellent inter-personal skills with the ability to bridge business and technical environments, and ability to build professional relationships Genpact is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion or belief, sex, age, national origin, citizenship status, marital status, military/veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical or mental disability or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws.
