Mobile Developer – REMOTE

Job Overview

Lucidya is seeking a skilled Mobile Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications that provide a seamless user experience on both iOS and Android platforms. You will collaborate with our UI/UX designers to bring designs to life and work closely with backend developers to integrate mobile applications with server-side logic.

As a Mobile Developer at Lucidya, you will have the chance to work on innovative projects that leverage Machine Learning and Big Data technologies to analyze content from various data sources. We are looking for someone who is passionate about mobile technology and is eager to contribute to our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop high-quality mobile applications for iOS and AndroidWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient codeCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresTroubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performanceEnsure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applicationsStay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in mobile developmentContribute to the growth of Lucidya through interviewing, onboarding, or other recruitment effortsImplement push notification systems across native iOS and Flutter apps, integrating with Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldProven experience as a Mobile Developer with a strong portfolio of mobile applicationsProficiency in Swift, Objective-C for iOS, and/or Kotlin, Java for Android developmentExperience with mobile development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter) is a plusKnowledge of RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end servicesStrong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practicesExperience with source control tools (e.g., Git)Ability to work independently as well as part of a teamExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailEagerness to learn and stay current with the latest mobile development trends and technologies
