Job Overview
We are currently looking for candidates to boost our group developing core, global algorithmic building blocks for driver assistance and drive automation SW products. Join us now and become a member of teams owning the overall development of our technology components with duties spanning from innovation to release.
We are now building a dedicated team to own a SW components in the domain of vehicle localization. In this exciting role you will work with a variety of technologies, from on-board sensors like wheel encoders and IMUs to perception sensors and global navigation systems.
Your exact role in the team will be adjusted depending on your profile.
Your Role
Design, development and implementation of SW module responsible for host vehicle state estimator for automotive driver assistance and drive automation systems Contribute to a scalable and configurable solutions ensuring effective deployment depending on:Vehicle platform (sensor setup, vehicle type) Targeted automation level and operational design domain Application of an estimator: perception quality, closed loop control performance, accuracy and integrity of localizationMarry top class engineering, creativity and automotive design processes to achieve excellence in functional performance and design quality Assessment of component performance in virtual and real world experiments Root cause identification and problem solving Technical documentation for design documentation, calibration manuals and knowledge sharing Collaboration and effective communication with global internal development teams Occasional exposure to OEM customers via remote meetings, in-person demonstrations and presentations Occasional travels (global) for internal and external workshops Use available opportunities to grow your career, show leadership, take ownership, exert influence and drive the success of the overall global product organization.
Your Background
MSc degree in Control Systems, Automation and Robotics, or similarExperience in software development using C/C++, Python, MATLABOne of the following:Experience in automotive control systemsExperience in motion control systems for UAVs, UUVs or similarExperience in algorithm design for precise localizationOne of the following:Expertise in state estimation, tracking and information fusionExpertise in radar perception systemsExpertise in vision perception systemsExpertise in localization, mapping or GNSS (RTK) technologyBasic knowledge of statistics and data analysis techniquesFluent command in spoken and written English
