Senior Android Developer

Location: Remote | Start Date: Immediately | Long Term

TalkHealthEdge is seeking a Senior Android Developer with strong expertise in Java and proven experience on platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, or Guru, with stellar client reviews and a solid history of delivering high-quality projects. As part of our Growth Engineering team, you’ll play a key role in expanding our platform globally by building features that convert, onboard, and retain users while collaborating with a world-class team of engineers.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable, data-driven, and fault-tolerant Android apps with a focus on smooth and seamless user experiences.Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to develop features users will love.Lead end-to-end development cycles: technical design, coding, testing, experimentation, and iterative improvements.Maintain and implement best practices for Android development while mentoring and supporting team members when needed.Continuously learn and adopt new tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve your craft.

Preferred Qualifications:

6+ years of android development experience with deep knowledge of Swift (Objective-C experience is a bonus).Proven track record of outstanding reviews and a strong portfolio on platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, or Guru.Experience building and deploying at least one exceptional Android app from concept to release.Strong foundation in software engineering fundamentals, with proven experience creating highly responsive, scalable, and secure mobile applications.Passion for creating solutions that impact lives, with a drive to innovate and improve.Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work effectively with distributed teams.
