Role Details:Job Title: Product Manager 5 (Payroll Product Owner/Manager)Location: Minneapolis, MN, or Charlotte, NCWork Mode: HybridLength: 6-month contract-to-hire (intended for FTE conversion)Pay Range: $68-$75/hr.
Key Responsibilities:Advise leadership and influence business plans, product design, and implementation for complex HR needs.Oversee product management for technical and diverse HR products, including Workday Payroll.Lead strategy, resolve challenges, and deliver scalable solutions considering global market trends and regulatory impact.Articulate Payroll product vision, define scope, prioritize backlogs, and oversee roadmap reviews.Manage cross-functional dependencies, inspect progress, and ensure quality and timely delivery of initiatives.Engage with executives, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive success.
Required Qualifications:6+ years of Workday Payroll experience, including leading product teams.Hands-on experience implementing Workday Payroll functionality in the U.S. and Canada (international preferred).Expertise in ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) and integrating systems with third-party vendors.Strong Agile knowledge and experience leading scrum teams to manage sprints.Proven ability to partner with executive stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and execute high-impact initiatives on time.Note: This is a critical role requiring expertise in Workday Payroll, Agile methodologies, and roadmap leadership. The ideal candidate should articulate well, partner with executive stakeholders, and lead the product vision effectively.
