Job Description:We are seeking a skilled Developer/Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in API connectivity, Python, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages to support and enhance our healthcare benefits administration services. This role requires a proactive individual who can collaborate effectively with various departments to drive technological innovations and improvements.
Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain APIs for seamless integration with internal and external systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure web applications.Utilize Python and JavaScript for developing backend services and front-end interfaces.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing and new applications to ensure optimal performance.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to suggest and implement improvements.Assist in the design and implementation of databases, ensuring data integrity and security.Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards.
Qualifications:Proven experience as a Developer/Programmer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.Proficiency in API development and integration.Strong knowledge of Python and JavaScript.Familiarity with additional programming languages such as Java, C#, or Ruby is a plus.Experience with database management systems like SQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.Understanding of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice to have:Experience in the healthcare benefits administration industry.Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Experience with cybersecurity best practices and data protection regulations.
