QA Engineer. (Manual) – REMOTE

Job Overview

Responsibilities

Actively participate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies.Estimate, prioritize, plan, coordinate in testing activities.Create, and maintain test cases and test data needed for test execution.Execute manual test cases for functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.Work with the team to perform test result analysis and root-cause analysis of the defects found.Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.Follow up the issues and defects fixing and retesting.Understand risk management and define regression test scopeDeliver good quality products to clients or customers.Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.Provide guidance to test team members for all testing activities.Provide mentorship to coach Junior QA on testing expertise.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or related field.1-5 years + related QA Engineer work experience.Excellent ability to understand software requirements and specification documents.Excellent ability to communicate with the working team, colleagues, and stakeholders.Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and experience in using JIRA.Be able to test both functional and technical requirements Service minded with a positive attitude, proactive, self-motivated and analytical thinking.Strong leadership skills.

The Advantage

ISTQB certifications.Knowledge of Android, iOS and Web application platformsExperience with test case management tools like Zephyr, TestRail, Testmo, etc.Experience with automated testing tool like Playwright, Robot framework, Cypress, Appium.
