Roles and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and cases based on project requirementsConduct manual testing to identify defects and ensure the software meets quality standardsDiagnose and troubleshoot issues using debugging tools such as Chrome DevToolsCreate and maintain automated test scripts using at least one programming languageImplement automated testing with tools like Cypress and SeleniumManage and track defects using platforms such as TestRail, BrowserStack, and JIRAPerform API testing (REST/GraphQL) using tools like Postman or InsomniaCollaborate with the development team to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, utilizing tools like JenkinsUtilize version control systems, such as Git, to manage test scripts and related artifactsApply knowledge of database fundamentals to perform simple SQL or NoSQL queries (a plus)Contribute to performance testing efforts using tools such as Apache JMeter (a plus)Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies and collaborate effectively within an agile environmentCommunicate test results, issues, and concerns clearly and effectively to stakeholdersConduct regular regression testing and sanity tests across multiple platforms and environments

Requirements

3+ years in software testing (manual)Automated testing is a plusExperience with CypressTest case design, execution, and defect tracking (JIRA, TestRail)CI/CD integration with Jenkins, version control (Git)Basic SQL/NoSQL knowledge (preferred)Performance testing exposure (JMeter is a plus)Agile/Scrum experience with strong communication skills
