About The Role

We are looking for a QA Software Engineer to join our global Agile team. This role provides opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to a dynamic QA team. The right candidate will have a mix of QA, automation, and software development experience and will have the chance to build and take ownership of new automation areas within our expanding test framework. With plenty of room for creativity, we encourage modern approaches and ingenuity to enhance automation and improve testing processes, always serving the end goal of delivering high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

Develop & maintain automated test suites for various managed services and in-house products. Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure product integrity in an Agile Scrum environment. Contribute to Agile ceremonies including story writing, sprint planning, and sprint reviews. Implement CI/CD testing workflows and enhance automation pipelines. Perform security-focused and user experience-driven testing. Troubleshoot test failures running in remote environments and ensure test stability. Identify, document, and communicate detailed bug reports to help developers reproduce and resolve issues efficiently. Think outside the box to uncover unexpected edge cases and complex system failures. Advocate for quality by confidently challenging assumptions, pushing back when necessary, and ensuring critical issues are addressed.

Must-Have Requirements

3+ years of experience in software testing, automation, or software development. Selenium automation experience (minimum 2 years for junior, 4 years for intermediate). Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, etc.). Experience with Git (resolving merge conflicts, version control workflows). SQL knowledge (querying, reading/writing data from databases). Ability to troubleshoot test failures in remote or distributed environments. Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins preferred, or alternatives like TeamCity, Bamboo, GitLab CI). Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment (running scripts, debugging issues). Understanding of API testing (experience with tools like Postman or Fitnesse preferred). Strong analytical mindset to decompose complex problems into structured solutions. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and push back when needed.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Java development experience (JUnit, TestNG). Experience with Cypress or other UI automation tools. Knowledge of infrastructure automation (Docker, AWS, Virtual Machines, or containers). Experience scaling large test suites and running parallel tests across multiple machines. Ability to write and execute scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash). Experience with network traffic, DNS, or security testing. Agile experience (Scrum, Kanban). JIRA knowledge for tracking bugs and test cases.
