Quality Assurance Tester – REMOTE

Job Overview

WINGS ICT Solutions is looking for a talented QA Tester to join our team and contribute to ongoing and upcoming projects. In this role, you will be responsible for executing test cases, meticulously logging results (including passed and failed test cases as well as identified bugs), and re-testing after bug fixes. Your focus will extend to both front-end application interfaces (UI) and the backend services developed on the client’s platform, facilitating seamless integration with third-party systems. The role requires a combination of knowledge of the functional analysis process and technical knowledge, since you will work closely with both the Functional Analyst and the implementation team (software developers).

The main responsibilities will involve:

perform functional testing using manually solutions create and execute test cases for the business requirements using manually solutionscreate/search test data for test cases identify dependencies on external and internal applications and perform test in cases with multiple integrations and systemsreport test status log and document defects with proper traces/screenshots/description for the development team. Have close communication with development team for defect analysissupport defect resolution and analyze the test outcome for continuous improvements

Requirements

Educational requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience

Desired experience and skills:

1-3 years of experience in manual application testingGood knowledge of Jira Testing Tool or similarExperience in documenting test scenarios and test cases, executing test cases to verify that a systemic/application is built as per the requirementsExperience in working and interacting with client facing, technology and project management teams
