seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team, focusing on handling dev ops, minor enhancements, bug fixes, and more. As part of our expanding use of the Connected Product Platform, applications, and devices, you will:Own
the design and development of software fixes, enhancements, components, and/or new software systems and applications.Drive the development of components through your own work and that of subordinate engineers.Develop technical
solutions that meet specifications and influence future developments.Execute assigned component-level software development projects and major fixes using new or existing technologies.Develop specifications for assigned components,
projects, or fixes.Review or write code, lead programming, testing, and debugging efforts.Create protocols, documentation, and tools for installation and maintenance.Participate in setting the architectural direction for
software development projects.Design specific components for assigned projects, developing specifications for each.Manage and maintain technical components and templates.Code against the front-end technology stack and lead
troubleshooting efforts.Coordinate deliverables with other technical groups in the organization.Serve as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced developers.Lead team members in problem analysis and issue resolution.Recommend
improvements to processes, technology, and interfaces.Basic Qualifications:5 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing scalable software systems and components.Proficiency in client-facing web applications
and major Internet-oriented applications and systems.Strong team player with excellent communication skills and proactive problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple work streams effectively.Emphasis on maintainable,
scalable, and defect-free coding practices.
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.Expertise in:Source control and build deploy tools such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, CICD.Java,
Go, Spring, Spring Boot.RESTful Web Services, JMS (Sonic, RabbitMQ), Node.js, Angular.NoSQL (DynamoDB, Mongo) and RDBMS (MySQL, Oracle), database design.Caching technologies (Redis, memcached), JSON Messaging, JavaScript.Monitoring
tools like Splunk, AppDynamics.Software Performance Optimization (memory, CPU, scaling, etc.).
