React Engineer – REMOTE

Job Overview

Tevpro is seeking aReact Engineer*to join our growing engineering team in Houston, TX.As a Tevpro React Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to work with theWorld’s Most Recognized Brandsand be at the forefront of driving a major transformation.

In this role, you will architect, build, and maintain complex web applications using React and modern JavaScript

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement clean, efficient, and reusable React componentsTranslate UI/UX designs into functional, responsive web interfacesOptimize performance for web applications across a wide range of devices and browsersIntegrate with RESTful APIsWrite unit and integration tests using tools like Jest, Testing Library, or PlaywrightParticipate in code reviews and maintain coding standards across the team

Requirements:

Work in person one (1) day a week at our Houston offices (1000 N Post Oak Road, Houston, TX 77055)5+ years of professional experience in front-end development3+ years of hands-on experience with React, Hooks, and modern state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or Context API)Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSSExperience with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, Rollup) and bundling strategiesFamiliarity with CI/CD workflows and Git-based version controlProven experience building responsive and accessible (WCAG-compliant) interfacesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with server-side rendering (Next.js) or static site generatorsFamiliarity with component libraries like Storybook, Shadcn, etcKnowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, Vitest, or PlaywrightExposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker)
