logoJob Overview: We are seeking a skilled and innovative Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist with expertise in Cognos development to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business intelligence solutions that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires a strong focus on data visualization, analysis, quality control, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Cognos reports, dashboards, and analytics to meet business requirements Implement and manage data visualization solutions to enable actionable insights Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality through robust testing and validation processes Optimize Cognos performance by monitoring and fine-tuning report and dashboard execution times Participate in data modeling, data analysis, and database integration to support BI solutions Provide technical support and training to end-users to ensure effective utilization of BI tools Work closely with IT and data teams to integrate BI solutions with existing systems

Required: Data Visualization: Proven experience in designing and implementing interactive dashboards and visualizations Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable insights Quality Control: Commitment to maintaining data integrity and accuracy Team Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables within deadlines Bonus: CRM Integration: Experience integrating BI solutions with Customer Relationship Management systems API Integration: Familiarity with APIs for data extraction and integration AI Integration: Exposure to AI-powered tools and frameworks to enhance BI capabilities Healthcare Experience: Understanding of healthcare industry data and compliance requirements

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Cognos Developer or in a similar BI role Proficiency in Cognos BI suite (Framework Manager, Report Studio, Query Studio, etc.) Solid understanding of database management systems, SQL, and ETL processes Familiarity with data governance and best practices in BI Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus
