Job Overview

ABANA Enterprises Group Co. is looking for a Research and Development Software Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will focus on researching new technologies and developing software solutions that enhance our banking products and services.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct research on emerging technologies and industry trends to inform software development initiativesDesign and develop innovative software prototypes based on research findingsCollaborate with product managers and engineers to translate requirements into functional software specificationsPerform system evaluation and analysis to identify potential improvements to existing software solutionsTest and validate software prototypes to ensure functionality and performance requirements are metDocument research processes, software designs, and development progress for internal and external stakeholdersParticipate in team meetings to share ideas, discuss challenges, and strategize next steps for development projectsProvide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and interns

Requirements

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field1+ years of experience in software development with a focus on research and development

Skills and Competencies:

Proficient with any one Object Oriented Programming language C# or JAVA. Razor, Javascript, Typescript,ReactJS, AngularJS, JQuery, Razor, etcFamiliar with Web services wsdl, REST API, tool such as PostmanFamiliar with Linux OS, shell commandsProficient with any one relational database (RDBMS) MS SQL, MySQL, Postgrey sqlite. Familiar with NoSQL database MongoDB or familiar with Redis is a plusBasic knowledge of Networking, TCP/IP, DNSKnowledge of readable data schemas; XML, JSON etcProficient with using Windows / linux OS platform (including running App and installers, system logs, restore points, re-imaging).
