Research Engineer – English required – ALTEN Belgium
The PositionAs part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Research Engineer to join our teams and work on client projects located in Brussels.
As a Research Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:
Setting up next-generation ADAS HiL systems based on the latest TMC technologyTesting and validating the new generation HiL capabilities for functional evaluationDeveloping virtual twins to create simulation scenarios for ADAS validationContributing to performance assessment methodology and KPIsCollaborating with internal and external stakeholders for integration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvementWorking within agile 3-week sprint cycles, delivering regular reports and documentation
Your ProfilePhD in engineering or equivalent (e.g. Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer Science)2 to 5 years of experience in a similar positionProficiency in: DSpace toolchain, HiL system setup and validation, ADAS systems and simulation environments, Agile methodologiesLanguages: English Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively in a hybrid working setup
