Leading UK law firm is hiring a Risk and Compliance Analyst on a permanent basis; this is an exciting and newly created role that will be working closely alongside the Partner responsible for firmwide Risk & Compliance.
Salary to £55,000 Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days remote)9:30am – 5:30pm
Risk and Compliance Analyst Key Responsibilities:Conduct KYC checks on new clients and advise on AML related issues to team members.Review and advise on complex KYC structures and onboarding queries.Advising on Enhanced Due Diligence requirements for high-risk clients and escalate, as necessary.Liaise with finance to ensure matters are opened in a timely manner.Maintain the risk register and Gifts and Hospitality Register.
Risk and Compliance Analyst Key Skills & Requirements:Experience of working in an international law firm or professional services environment.University degree, with a legal or business studies focus desirable.Working knowledge and understanding of current AML regulations and applicable regulatory guidance in the UK.Familiarity with MS Office, client intake software and financial crime focused databases.
