THE ROLE
Climate Impact Partners, a leading provider of high-quality carbon credit programs, is seeking a talented and visionary Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. As part of our commitment to driving positive climate action, we deliver solutions that transform the global economy, improve health and livelihoods, and restore a thriving planet. This role reports directly to the IT Operations Director and plays a crucial part in supporting our broader Digital agenda and company strategy.
Responsibilities
As a Salesforce Business Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to optimize and enhance Salesforce functionalities to meet business needs. You will analyse business processes, manage system configurations, and facilitate the execution of projects that align with the organization’s goals. Salesforce Admin experience is desirable to ensure smooth execution and to provide hands-on support where needed.
Salesforce System Analysis and Optimization
Work with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements related to Salesforce implementations and optimizations. Identify opportunities to improve business processes through Salesforce, including automations, reporting, and integrations. Conduct system analysis and propose technical solutions aligned with business goals.
Salesforce Configuration and Customisation
Support Salesforce configuration, including workflows, process builder, custom fields, objects, and data structures. Implement and maintain Salesforce features and functionalities as per business needs. Assist in the development of dashboards, reports, and workflows to provide insights for key stakeholders.
Requirement Gathering and Stakeholder Management
Work with internal teams to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria for Salesforce implementations. Serve as a key liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring Salesforce solutions align with business requirements. Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Data Management and Governance
Assist in managing data quality, integrity, and security within the Salesforce environment. Support the development and implementation of data management policies and data governance within Salesforce.
Salesforce User Training and Support
Provide hands-on support and training for Salesforce users to ensure effective usage. Troubleshoot issues related to Salesforce functionalities and coordinate with the technical team to resolve complex issues.
Salesforce Admin Support (Desirable)
Administer Salesforce instances including user management, permissions, and system configurations. Assist in the development and maintenance of Salesforce documentation, including best practices and procedures.
Project Coordination and Delivery
Support the execution of Salesforce-related projects ensuring alignment with business goals, project timelines, and budgets. Track progress, provide updates, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Vendor Management
Collaborate with third-party vendors for Salesforce-related solutions, including integrations and extensions. Participate in vendor selection, contract negotiations, and ongoing vendor performance management.
Skills/Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analysis role with a strong focus on Salesforce CRM. Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration, including creating custom fields, workflows, process builder, and validation rules. Salesforce Administrator certification (desirable). Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience with Salesforce integrations and third-party applications (e.g. Marketing Cloud). Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies. Experience in data governance and reporting within Salesforce.
