Egnyte is seeking a Jr. Software Engineer to work on exciting AI/ML projects and gain hands-on experience contributing to the development of Generative AI and machine learning
solutions. In this role, you’ll join a collaborative and supportive environment where you can learn, grow, and make an impact by building innovative solutions to enhance Egnyte’s platform. This is a great opportunity

WHAT YOU’LL DO:Assist in the design and development of AI/ML features for Egnyte’s platform under the guidance of senior engineers.Build and optimize foundational
Generative AI solutions, such as NLP-based models, to enhance platform functionalities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into AI solutions.Write clean, efficient
code while following best practices in software engineering.Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining a high standard of quality across the team.Learn and stay up to date with advancements in AI/ML technologies,
applying relevant knowledge to projects.Assist in testing and deploying machine learning models to ensure they meet scalability and performance requirements.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.1+ years of experience in building GenAI applications is preferred.Strong foundational knowledge of computer science, including algorithms,
data structures, and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with machine learning concepts, including Generative AI (e.g., LLMs and basic NLP techniques).Experience working with Python and at least one AI/ML framework (e.g.,
PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras) through coursework, internships, or personal projects.Basic understanding of cloud platforms like AWS or GCP and containerization tools like Docker.Passion for learning, with a collaborative
mindset and strong communication skills.Willingness to be in office 3 days per week BONUS SKILLS:Exposure to AI/ML pipelines or workflows through academic or internship experiences.Knowledge of data preprocessing and working
with large datasets.Experience with additional programming languages, such as Java or Scala, is a plus.Interest in Generative AI applications, including NLP and computer vision. COMPENSATION:Our compensation reflects the
cost of labor across multiple U.S. geographic locations, and pay varies based on defined markets. The standard base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $100k – $115k annually. Pay varies by work location and may
also be dependent on job-related skills, knowledge, and/or experience. During the interview and/or hiring process, your recruiter can share more information about the compensation package specific to the role and job location.
