Job Description

Project: This is a customer remediation initiative within COO focusing on home lending remediation. This person will be responsible for writing sql code to pull data and query from multiple data sources. They will then load that data into SAS for data remediation. This person will need to go out and get the requirements as they will be driving the remediation. They won’t be given the requirements they need to go out and get it themselves.

Day to day: This person is going to be writing sas programs and writing complex scripts on a daily basis. They need to be detail oriented, good at writing documentation and writing procedures. There is a data analytic approach document, artifact documents and others that go along with the remediation. This person needs to understand the remediation, get the requirements, write the code, refine the data file to present to the business, make updates to their code and present again. Once the requirements are refined and signed off, then the documentation needs to be handed to a peer review team. They then do a quality check on their documentation. Then goes to the execution team who gets the data from Ralph’s team and they execute on it – send the checks/letters/ update accounts. working in waterfall/agile. doing daily standups but their git population/ etc its very waterfall. Need some BA skills as they need to collect their own requirements.

Must Have: data analyst, SAS or SQL, Teradata experience, Oracle experience, good problem solving skills, good communication skills,requirements gathering, good documentation skills

Nice to have: Financial Services working with Consumer Lending or Non-Lending data, e.g. Auto Lending, Home Lending, Credit Card, Retail Banking, Merchant Services, Personal Lending, Deposits, Wealth & Investment Management
