As a Backend Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in shaping our core backend architecture, APIs, and integrations, working closely with the CTO, founding engineers, product design, and CEO.
What You’ll Do
Design, build, and scale robust backend services using Golang (primary) and Python to power our automation workflowsDevelop and enhance APIs, integrations, and core workflow logic to support complex automation scenariosManage and extend your own infrastructure components using Terraform and existing DevOps frameworks, ensuring reliability and scalabilityCollaborate closely with founding engineers, product design, and leadership to define technical strategies and deliver critical featuresContribute to AI-driven product features, event-driven systems, and distributed architectures
Requirements
5+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally with significant experience in Golang (primary) and PythonProven expertise in building scalable APIs, robust backend applications, and integrationsStrong familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/ECS)Experience or familiarity with AI systems, distributed computing, and event-driven architecturesExcellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving startup environmentComfortable navigating ambiguity, rapidly iterating, and proactively solving problems without clearly defined specs
