We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mid-Level Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are
passionate about technology and eager to contribute to real-world projects. As a Mid-Level Software Engineer, you will work under the guidance of senior team members to support the development, testing, and maintenance of
innovative solutions.
What you’ll achieve:
Development and Implementation: Contribute to designing, coding, and testing software applications, taking ownership of medium-complexity features and collaborating
closely with the development team to deliver high-quality solutions. Support and Maintenance: Lead troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues in existing applications, with a focus on root cause analysis and long-term
solutions. Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including code comments, architectural diagrams, and process guides to support maintainability. Testing and Quality Assurance: Actively
participate in functional, performance, and regression testing, and work with QA teams to ensure the quality and reliability of deliverables. Mentorship and Growth: Share knowledge by mentoring junior engineers and contributing
to team knowledge-sharing sessions. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies, and apply them to improve processes and solutions. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including
designers, QA engineers, product managers, R&D, and data engineers, while proactively contributing to project planning and execution.
About you:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).2–5 years of professional experience in software development. Proficiency in at
least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, .NET, Nodejs)Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and best practices.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).Ability
to independently design, develop, and deliver features while ensuring code qualityProficiency with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).Hands-on
experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools.Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
Location: Headquartered in Washington, DC / This role is remote-friendly. You must be located in an Eastern or Central time zone.
