The Critical Services Center of Excellence (CoE), a subdivision of SoftServe, is a team of highly skilled professionals primarily focused on technology, including software architecture, startups, and enterprise solutions. SoftServe transforms businesses through comprehensive security assessments, creating and executing threat scenarios, identifying security risks, and addressing vulnerabilities.

We adopt a proactive approach by consulting clients on security management and analyzing infrastructure across multiple layers. This enables us to design efficient security strategies aligned with industry standards (ISO 27000, CIS Benchmarks, NIST, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS, etc.) while considering clients’ short- and long-term objectives.

IF YOU ARE

An expert with in-depth knowledge of major cloud providers, particularly AWS, and practical experience in Azure and GCP, with familiarity in emerging cloud platforms as a plusProficient in virtualization technologies, containers, service meshes, and enterprise service bus architectures, with hands-on experience in Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless architecturesKnowledgeable about the key differences between popular cloud provider solutions and orchestration tools (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Docker), and capable of recommending optimal solutions based on project requirementsExperienced in structured enterprise architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migrationFamiliar with assessing, developing, implementing, optimizing, troubleshooting, and documenting a broad set of security technologies and processes (SSDLC, data protection, cryptography, key management, IAM, network security) within SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environmentsSkilled in designing, implementing, and delivering security for cloud-native, distributed computing and architectural solutions with a “Secure by Design” approachProfessional in performing threat modeling and generating security architectural requirements for software development and product teams, focusing on risk-based security measuresExperienced with 3+ years of full-time dedicated leadership in cloud security roles and 2+ years of defining security standards and reference architectures to guide secure system implementation and configuration for enterprise cloud systemsIn possession of one or more technical security certifications, like Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) – would be a plusFamiliar with emerging cloud platforms (optional)

Develop Cloud Service Design Patterns/Blueprints for the enterpriseCreate patterns required for each Cloud Service (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and FaaS) the client subscribes toWork on diagrams/schemes, and requisite IaC/PaC components to be consumed in pipelines/DevOps processes and CSPM toolsEnsure that the solution is deployed and governed as per the patternDesign technical security measures to protect highly sensitive workloads/applicationsHave occasional business trips
