The SevenRooms Data & Analytics team is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to work closely with our business teams in development and support of business initiatives, as well as to contribute to the development of the data culture at SevenRooms. In this role, you will work with our business partners to develop data products, and analyze data related to our Go-to-Market teams (Sales, Customer Success, Support, RevOps, and Marketing). You will be directly responsible for supporting cross-functional initiatives, being a close partner in thought as well as delivery of data products. You will report directly to our Manager, Data & Analytics.

You will operate within our Data & Analytics Team (DAE) who are focused towards driving insights for key functions across our business. As a member of our DAE team, you will participate in and lead the technical execution of complex business intelligence and analytics related projects. Translation of this data to help key business stakeholders make decisions, as well as acting as a thought partner in all aspects of these initiatives, is of utmost importance. Our Data & Analytics Team sits within Finance and works closely and collaboratively with all areas of our business.

What You’ll Do

Collaboration/Partnership: Partner closely with members of the Data, Engineering, Revenue Operations, Finance, Marketing and Customer Success leadership teams. Create innovative ways to share data and insights back to the business. Identify critical operational questions that can be answered through new data insights. Help design initiatives, metrics, and impactful projects.Data Analytics: Own and improve KPI reporting to measure business initiatives, customer engagement, and customer retention. Combine data from disparate data sources into scalable models while maintaining accuracy in deliverables. Investigate, troubleshoot, and solve data quality issues.Reporting: Compile analytics into reporting & visualizations that empower our GTM Teams to make educated, data-driven decisions. Lead the development and documentation of organizational data assets and definitions.Product Knowledge: Become a subject matter expert on everything related to our SevenRooms business teams and business initiatives. Through training and close collaboration, work with multiple teams to identify key areas of improvement based on various data sources.Process Improvements: Support incoming business requests, compile root cause analyses and solve common issues at the source. Drive advanced analyses to identify underlying business and product trends and provide strategic recommendations.

Who You Are

3-5+ years of experience working with complex, structured, and unstructured datasets related to business outcomes (Bookings, Renewals, Upsells, Customer Engagement, etc.)Experience with SQL and cloud business intelligence tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Data Studio, etc.); understanding of cloud data warehousing and ETL/ELT techniques is a plusYou can effectively communicate complex data concepts so they are understandable, consumable, and/or actionable by variable audiencesYou’re able to adapt quickly to the evolving needs of a high-growth SaaS business and create pragmatic and innovative solutions to complex business problemsYou’re able to facilitate cross-organizational collaboration to drive actionable and measurable results

In addition, we also offer equity in our growing organization.The On-Target Earnings (Base + Annual Bonus) range for this role is $159,500-$176,000. This is the range SevenRooms in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of the posting. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed remotely in any US state. Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also bonus eligible.
