Description

Captivation Software is looking for a mid level software engineer who is a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to support our growing development and operations team.

Requirements

Security Clearance:

Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen

Minimum Qualifications:

Seven (7) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is requiredBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an
accredited college or university is requiredFour (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Required Skills:

Basic knowledge of RKE2 and Kubernetes.Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration.Proficiency in Bash scripting and Unix/Linux operating systems.Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.

Desired Skills:

Experience with additional automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Jenkins.Knowledge of networking concepts and cloud platforms (AWS)Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus,
Grafana, ELK stack)
