Senior DevOps Engineer We are a forward-thinking technology company focused on delivering innovative solutions that combine traditional systems with cutting-edge technologies. With offices across multiple locations, including Malta, Serbia, and India, and platforms hosted both on-premise and in the cloud, we are expanding rapidly. We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and help build and maintain the infrastructure that supports our platforms, ensuring we remain at the forefront of technology.
Key Responsibilities:Infrastructure Management: Take ownership of both physical and virtual infrastructures, including on-premise and cloud-based systems. Ensure servers and networking infrastructure are effectively monitored, protected, and up to date.DevOps Tools Implementation: Lead the implementation of the DevOps tools roadmap in collaboration with the software and data development teams. Streamline the pipeline for regular updates and assist with troubleshooting live system issues.Automation & Updates: Introduce automation for software and infrastructure updates. Maintain systems documentation as required.System Availability & Performance: Ensure 24/7 system availability and maintain KPIs at an acceptable level.Collaboration: Work closely with systems and network administrators to develop and maintain both operational and development platform environments.External Liaison: Coordinate with external service providers for systems and DevOps engineering services.
Qualifications:Cloud & Infrastructure Management: Practical experience in managing on-premise and cloud infrastructure services (e.g., MS Azure).DevOps Expertise: Strong background in a senior DevOps role, particularly in automating systems and providing platform operational support. Hands-on experience with tools such as Jenkins and Kubernetes (K8s/AKS) is required.Technical Leadership: Previous experience leading or mentoring within the DevOps field.Linux & Troubleshooting: Extensive experience managing complex Linux environments and troubleshooting large-scale systems.Certifications & Education: Industry-recognised certifications and a relevant IT degree would be advantageous.Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel regularly to key locations as part of the role.
