Role OverviewWe’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys building products from the ground up. You’ll play a crucial role in shaping our platform, working across the stack to develop and refine key features, improve performance, and support early customers. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on both our product and company direction.
What You’ll DoFeature Development: Design, build, and refine features requested by early customers.Bug Resolution: Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve reported issues.Rapid Prototyping: Build and test prototypes to validate product ideas and de-risk technical decisions.Codebase Refactoring: Optimize existing code for performance, maintainability, and scalability.Quality Assurance: Write automated tests and ensure reliability in production.Beta Testing & Onboarding: Support the rollout of new features and assist in onboarding early users.Technical Documentation: Contribute to clear and organized technical documentation.Ad-Hoc Engineering Tasks: Take on additional engineering responsibilities as needed.

Frontend Skills✅ Must Have:Proficiency in SvelteKit (preferred) or a modern frontend framework (React, Vue, etc.) Should Have:Experience with ShadCN, Flowbite, Tailwind CSSBasic UI/UX skills and ability to create low-fidelity mockups in Figma Nice to Have:Experience with user research and visual design
Backend Skills✅ Must Have:3+ years of experience building and maintaining production backend applicationsStrong backend development experience with Node.js, TypeScript, or other backend stacks (Rails, Django, Laravel, etc.)Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.) Should Have:2+ years of experience with TypeScript & Node.js Nice to Have:Experience with SvelteKit, Next.js, or similar full-stack JS frameworksExperience with Twilio, SendGrid, or other messaging APIsExperience integrating with HRIS or EMS providersExperience developing staffing, scheduling, or workforce management systems
Infrastructure Skills✅ Must Have:Experience managing cloud resources in Vercel, DigitalOcean, or Fly.io (not AWS/GCP/Azure) Should Have:Familiarity with GitHub Actions or other CI/CD toolsBasic knowledge of DNS configuration (e.g., Namecheap) Nice to Have:Experience with containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes) (not currently in use but useful for future expansion)
Bonus SkillsExperience building native mobile applications (iOS/Android) or Progressive Web Apps (PWA)Background in low-latency systems or real-time applications
