Responsibilities
Build and expand our data analysis products and data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js) Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver user-facing features Actively improve product features for some of the largest companies in the world Write unit, integration, and load tests as necessary Actively participate in code reviews Write and review technical proposals Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
Qualifications
Experience with client-side web developmentFamiliarity with computer science fundamentals such as data structures, distributed systems, concurrency, and threading A commitment to working in a communicative and collaborative environment You write code that can be easily understood by others, with an eye towards maintainability You hold yourself and others to a high bar when working with production systems You value high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practices
Pay
Target pay ranges based on Geographic Zones* for Level 4-5:
Zone 1: San Francisco/Bay Area or New York City Metropolitan Area (if not Bay area specific role): $173,000 – $235,000** Zone 2: Boston, DC, Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Seattle: $156,000 – $212,000** Zone 3: All other US locations: $147,000 – $200,000**
