With a global team working from our offices in Prague and Hamburg—or from home across Europe, the UK, the US, and the APAC region—we serve thousands of global customers, including leading brands such as Uber, Snowflake, Tripadvisor, Shopify, Puma, Bosch, or Lionbridge.You will join as a Senior Full Stack Engineer for Orchestrator – our robust and flexible framework for creating automations and integrations. Using its drag-and-drop capabilities, users create sophisticated workflows that customize the localization process without the need for code or developer involvement. Orchestrator unlocks exciting new automation scenarios whilst helping our customers save time and cost.Through close collaboration with other engineers, designers, and product managers, you will craft compelling features and robust engineering solutions. You will help build and run the critical services that power our platform, ensuring systems are highly performant and responsive.You should see yourself as an all-rounder with a strong product mindset. You’ll be excited to work on solutions across our entire tech stack, tackling various focus areas – from user-experience to platform scalability. You will be comfortable leveraging your experience and skills within an autonomous, distributed setting, and be a great communicator and true team player.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Designing, developing and enhancing features, services and infrastructure – ensuring solutions are robust, secure, scalable and maintainablePlaying an active role in the entire development lifecycle: planning, building, testing, deploying, monitoring, and maintenanceParticipating in regular refinement and planning sessions for upcoming featuresOwning major initiatives from start to finish, ensuring completion through collaborative effortsMentoring your fellow team members and performing code reviews to ensure consistent, high-quality contributionsSupporting our systems in production whilst identifying options to improve our observability solutionsContributing to architectural and wider engineering direction-settingWhat you need:
Expert development experience in Elixir and Phoenix LiveViewHands-on experience working with Kubernetes in a production environmentExperience with Argo Workflows (highly desirable)Experience with AWS servicesExperience with messaging systems like Kafka and RabbitMQDatabase management experience in technologies such as PostgresKnowledge of service deployment via CI/CDExpertise with observability tools such as Datadog and SentryA track record of writing clear, concise, well-tested, and performant codeA strong understanding of software development principles and best practicesA drive to stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologiesExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailA commitment to technical excellence, quality, and consistent deliveryAbility to work independently or as part of a team, with an enthusiasm to step-up and lead when requiredFamiliarity with Agile and Scrum methodologiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English, we’re an international team and English is our official languageOur current Tech Stack @ Phrase
