SURREY (3 DAYS PER WEEK ON-SITE)Harnham is excited to bring you an opportunity to partner with a globally leading technology company specialising in R&D! You will be joining a department specialising in their gaming ecosystem and supporting the tech company and video game partners to optimise their products on their platforms! THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Senior Game Optimisation Engineer, you will be:Developing plugins, Android APIs and demos to support and improve the performance of video games on their platformsWork closely with game companies and provide them with actionable insights on how to better optimise their games for the client's devicesStudy how to improve the performance of apps on their platforms, particularly focusing on CPUs. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful applicant will have the following:A degree in a related field such as a STEM subject.Experience in game engine optimisation, particularly Unity, Unreal Engine or similarA background in supporting game or tech companies with video game optimisationStrong modern C++ skillsExperience working with Android development (Perfetto, ADB, Gradle)Java and/or C# would be a bonus! THE BENEFITS
Once placed you can expect the following:£400-£550 per dayInside IR356 month initial contract with extensions very likely3 days per week in their Surrey officeOpportunity to travel the world for 2 weeks at a time to destinations in Europe, North America and AsiaOpportunity to attend industry events overseas HOW TO APPLY
