Senior Geospatial Full Stack Developer (React / Node.js/ Mapbox/ PostGIS)
About NASH Renewables:We are NASH Renewables, a start-up company recently acquired by TotalEnergies, dedicated to developing software that accelerates the renewable energy transition. Our flagship software, NASH|Dev, improves the development and planning of wind and solar renewable energy assets to build renewable energy assets faster and more effectively.
Your Role:As a Senior Geospatial Full Stack Developer, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission, directly contributing to the development and continuous improvement of our platforms. Your work will involve building, testing, and deploying geospaital features that meet our standards for innovation, reliability, and performance. In this role, you will not only tackle technical challenges head-on but also inspire your team by championing best practices in software development and staying at the forefront of technology trends.
Responsibilities:Design and implement scalable, robust geospatial solutions, proactively anticipating future needs and challenges.Work closely with the Product team to translate user needs into technical requirements.Contribute to the testing and validation processes of our software Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various internal APIs and databases.Advocate for high code quality and maintainability standards, utilizing best practices such as code reviews, mentorship programs, and knowledge sharing initiatives.Embrace an agile development process, contributing to the team’s efficiency and adaptability.
What We’re Looking For:A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a geospatial full-stack developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in React and Node.js.Deep understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, SASS) Experience with geospatial and mapping frameworks Mapbox and PostGISProficiency in designing and developing APIs, with a strong grasp of RESTful conventions.Demonstrated ability in testing, CI/CD, automation, and version control using Git.Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work in a team, and strong communication skills.Experience with cloud services, preferably AWS.A passion for renewable energy and a desire to contribute to environmental sustainability.
