This Senior Java Developer role involves system design, implementation, and testing to ensure we build products correctly and release them with high quality. This position requires working in an Agile software development environment.
Key Responsibilities:Analyze, design, develop and implementation of software solutions for healthcare industry using Java, J2EE, JavaScript, Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat, MySQL, Servlet, JDK, Windows, UNIX, etc.Handle complex problems independently and demonstrates analytical thinking. Must be able to make judgements and recommendations based on the analysis and interpretation.Define and design application tiers; review, implement systems frameworks for security validationPerform Code Reviews for other offshore Developers (India/Philippines)Agile ceremonies (Backlog grooming, Sprint planning etc.)
Requirements:· Green Card or Citizenship required (Unable to hold or transfer H4/EAD, OPT, H1) · 8 years experience in enterprise full stack Java development (J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat) required· Preference will be given to candidates local to Tampa who can collaborate onsite· Knowledge of Bash, reading/writing shell scripts, scheduling tools (CRON jobs, DBMS, ETC)· Must have experience with Git/Github/Bit source control systems and batch processing.· Back end experience in MySQL or Oracle with Angular or React preferred front· Experience and ability to work in a constantly changing, fast paced, deadline driven environment.· Experienced with Agile SDLC, JIRA, AWS preferred· Experienced performing Code Reviews for offshore resources
