Cimarron is seeking Software Test Engineers to support unit testing for Artemis 2, NASA’s first crewed mission to the Moon since Apollo. Artemis 2 will
carry astronauts around the Moon, testing critical systems for future lunar landings and deep space exploration. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to human spaceflight and NASA’s mission to return to
the Moon.

Ideally, the selected candidates for this job would be located onsite in either Houston, TX or Denver, CO. However, hybrid or remote work options may be available.

Key Duties

Develop and execute unit tests for Artemis 2 software.Collaborate with software developers to ensure code quality and reliability.Identify, document, and track software defects and issues.Utilize C++
or Python to develop and automate test cases.Contribute to software verification and validation activities.

Required/Desired Skills, Experience, And Education

Required Skills, Experience, and Education :

Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time. Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug
screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.2 or more years of experience in software testing or software development.Proficiency in C++ or Python for test automation and validation.Strong
debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Desired Skills, Experience, And Education

Experience working with aerospace or embedded systems.Familiarity with software verification for safety-critical systems.Knowledge of software development lifecycle
(SDLC) best practices.
