Toppan Merrill has an exciting opportunity for a Python Engineer to join our Romanian Squad. You will … work on a cutting-edge cloud-based SaaS platform in the financial reporting and regulatory compliance space, collaborating with a dynamic team and grow professionally in an Agile environment.

Job Responsibilities: Design develop and maintain new and existing system components as part of the backend team.Design and implement RESTful/WebSocket APIs using Python 3.12+ and MongoDB.Work closely with the development team, remotely, to deliver high-quality solutions.Ensure adherence to software design patterns and implement robust, maintainable, and scalable code.Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to continuous improvement.

About You: 7+ years of experience developing with Python and frameworksProficiency in databases such as MongoDB, SQL, etc.Strong experience in designing RESTful API interfaces.Solid knowledge and practical experience with Software Design Patterns.Experience with Python frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.Familiarity with Mypy for type checking.Experience with Redis for caching solutions.Knowledge of Socket.IO for real-time communication.Proficiency in Linux (installation and maintenance).
