Administrator/Developer with expertise in both administration and development aspects of Power BI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing Power BI capacities, developing impactful dashboards and reports,
and managing migrations to Microsoft Fabric. This role demands a proactive, self-driven individual who can work independently and deliver high-quality solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:1.
Power BI Administration:Manage and maintain Power BI workspaces, datasets, and dataflows.Administer and optimize Power BI Premium and Microsoft Fabric capacities for efficient utilization.Plan, execute, and validate migrations
from Power BI to Microsoft Fabric capacity.Ensure security, compliance, and governance within the Power BI and Fabric environments.Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and operational issues within Power BI/Fabric ecosystems.2.
Dashboard and Report Development:Design and build interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports tailored to business needs.Implement efficient data modeling, DAX calculations, and Power Query techniques to optimize performance.Collaborate
with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.3. Data Integration and Migration:Lead the migration of Power BI capacity to Microsoft Fabric capacity, ensuring seamless transitions.Integrate
and centralize data from various sources into Power BI/Fabric.Develop and maintain reusable data pipelines and datasets for reporting efficiency.4. Proactive Collaboration and Innovation:Identify opportunities for process
improvements and automation within the BI ecosystem.Stay updated on the latest Power BI and Microsoft Fabric features to ensure best practices are implemented.Act as a subject matter expert, providing training and mentorship
to team members on Power BI and Fabric.Required Skills and Qualifications:Experience:5+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI administration.Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric capacity, including migrations from
Power BI capacity.5+ years of experience in developing interactive dashboards, reports, and data models.Technical Expertise:Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and advanced data modeling techniques.In-depth understanding
of Fabric architecture, capacity planning, and optimization.Familiarity with Azure Synapse, Data Lake, or other Fabric-related components is a plus.Soft Skills:Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.Excellent
problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:Microsoft certifications in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric,
or related technologies.Experience automating administrative tasks using PowerShell or REST APIs.Exposure to Agile methodologies and project management tools.
