Role PurposeKynetec is seeking a Senior Research Analyst to lead projects for a portfolio of established clients and provide support to a dedicated research team. You will join our team of research professionals focused specifically on Animal Health markets. Previous experience in Customer Insights (ad hoc or custom market research) will be required for this role. Animal Health/Nutrition industry expertise will be helpful, but is not considered mandatory for this role.
Job DescriptionProposal Development & Research Design:Assists in creating bids for proposals including designing RFPs and getting costs from operations (supplier management team) and estimating research hoursSupport pricing development for specific elements of projects with supervisionDrafts a concept for study design, design and write questionnaires and topic guidesHas some direct interaction with clients (in consultation with (Snr.) Research Directors responsible for accounts). Learns how to work independently and more and more directly with clients.
Project Execution:Project manager for medium to highly complex projectsDelivers the projects with high quality and according to planCollaborates with internal stakeholders throughout projectsWorks with a team to design studies, edit research tools, and plan analyses and reportingOversees the data collection processes such as preparing study specifications for Operations and/or agencies, client reports, drafting questionnaires, quota monitoring, sample delivery, troubleshooting and testingMay conduct more complex project interviewing/ techniques on a range of issues
Analysis & Reporting:Creates impactful reports with detailed and meaningful insights, using storytelling and infographic methodsIn smaller projects, gives live/telco presentations to the customer (junior and mid-level management at clients)Creates and populates presentation chartsAnalyzes data and cross-tabs for meaningful results / liaise with the data processing team to generate useful tablesProduces comprehensive country reportsProduces overview report drafts highlighting implications and recommendations
Skills required1-3 years’ experience working in Customer Insights / Ad hoc / Custom Market Research is required for this positionHands on experience with quantitative research methods is essential A bachelor’s or master’s degree related to market / empirical research, statistics, marketing, economics, animal health and/or nutrition will be rated advantageous in the recruitment processPrevious experience or an interest in Animal Health will be advantageousExperience with data processing requirements would be advantageousStrong client management skillsExcellent communication and presentation skills
