We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Developer for our Parametrics team. This team is responsible for the 2D and 3D geometrical constraints solving technology.
As our new colleague, you have:
A Bachelor, Master or PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or other (applied) sciencesStrong mathematical insight (e.g., basic geometry, linear algebra, numerical methods)5+ years of professional experience with C++ (at least C++11) or equivalent by showing relevant personal/student workAbility to design and develop complex softwareAbility to coordinate your work with team members and to be open and honest in communicationFull professional proficiency in English
Knowledge of any of the following is a plus:
Knowledge of the DWG file formatC++14/17, boost, Qt (QML), Object Oriented Design, Optimization, High Performance and Parallel computingStrong grasp of Agile methodologies, with a track record of contributing to Agile/Scrum teamsComputer Aided Design (CAD), Architecture (BIM), Engineering, 3D sketching skillsKnowledge of the ACIS modeler or dwg libraries

A developer’s job at Bricsys is very diverse. Besides hands-on software development, a Senior Software Engineer helps designing the software architecture and mentors junior colleagues.
We have a product-wide code review culture, with more experienced developers frequently interfacing with peers across the Bricsys product lines. You will be working on challenging problems; in a good balance between new, innovative projects and continuously improving existing features.
By doing this, as a R&D Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of a larger and international team that aims to develop an industry leading and very user-friendly product family for customers in the AEC, GIS, civil engineering, and mechanical CAD markets.
As the Parametrics team is international, communication is key. Participating in the daily stand-ups, clear communication in our task tracker, and code reviews will be part of your daily routine.
