The Role:As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and high-performance systems. You’ll collaborate closely with product and design teams to build modern digital solutions that enhance user experience, drive customer engagement, and support business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain robust backend and/or frontend systems using modern frameworks and tools.Lead architectural decisions and ensure best practices across the development lifecycle.Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code in languages such as Java, Python, TypeScript, or Go.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build seamless product features with strong focus on security, performance, and usability.Integrate third-party APIs and services to support product functionality.Drive continuous improvement through code reviews, testing, and process optimisation.Stay updated on the latest technology trends and innovations.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
The Ideal Candidate:Currently based in the UAE.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of software development experience, ideally within tech startups, SaaS, or digital product companies.Deep understanding of backend and/or frontend architecture, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).Proficiency in frameworks such as React, Node.js, Django, or Spring Boot.Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, microservices, and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).Strong problem-solving skills, with a passion for building innovative solutions.Excellent communication and collaboration skills in agile teams.Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
