Our client is a global investment management firm with over $57 billion in AUM. The Software Engineer will be part of the Fixed Income and Commodities Order Execution Technology
team and will be responsible for designing and implementing systems that support their execution platform, dealing with reference data, market data, and data captured for analysis. This position will sit in Miami, Florida
and they will provide relocation.

Responsibilities

Participate in the design of new systems and services featuresImplement and maintain software built in Java and PythonMinor role in supporting UI changes built
in React/AngularAnswer to support queriesCollaborate with the development team, Quality Assurance, and Support

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in mathematics, physics, computer science, computer engineering, or other quantitative related degree5-7 years of programming experience in JavaExperience creating, maintaining, and
using web servicesExperience with messaging systems (Tibco, Solace, Aeron, Kafka, etc)Experience with version control (Git) and build (Maven) systems

Pluses

Working experience with low latency systemsBackground in financial services, knowledge in Equities, futures or treasury markets3+ years Spring Framework (Boot, IoC, data mappings, etc) experienceExperience
programming in Python

Salary Range

$200,000 – $300,000
