Role Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic Full Stack Developer to join as our first full-time technology hire. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our technology platforms, with responsibilities spanning front-end development, backend services, integrations, and cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using React and Next.js.Implement robust backend services and APIs using GraphQL, Supabase, DynamoDB and various compute micro-services.Enhance and manage geospatial functionalities within our platforms.Integrate external data sources through public and commercial API’s.Manage and improve cloud-based hosting environments.Collaborate closely with leadership to define and refine technical strategies and architecture.Participate actively in growing the technology team and contribute strategically to the company’s technical roadmap.
Technical Experience & Skills:Proven experience in front-end development with React and Next.js.Strong familiarity with cloud services (AWS preferred).Competence with modern backend technologies and databases.Experience with geospatial mapping technologies and integrations – ESRI, Google Maps, MapBox, etc.Experience integrating third-party APIs and external datasets.Understanding of modern web hosting platforms like Vercel.Intermediate knowledge of network engineering principles.Proficiency in building scalable, secure, and maintainable applications.Previous experience in startups or scale-ups preferred, but not mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
