The Hybrid Data Management (HDM) team is looking for enthusiastic and talented software developers to join us. Our services include Db2 on Cloud, Db2 Warehouse on Cloud, Netezza on Cloud and Data Virtualization as a Service. Our services are tightly integrated with IBM Cloud Pak for Data where customers can access a suite of leading data and AI capabilities in a unified experience.

Your Role And Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, operate and maintain database features in our products and services and tools to provide a secure environment for the product to be used by customers in the cloud.

Evaluate new technologies and processes that enhance our service capabilities.

Bachelor’s Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

5+ years of relevant experience in software development Strong software programming experience and skills in C/C++ or in equivalent programming languageStrong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and test-driven development. Expertise to best practices in design, development Strong problem determination and resolution skills

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

Knowledge of Linux/UNIX Operating Systems Exposure to best practices in design, development and testing of software Working experience with SQL databases (Db2, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server etc)
