Reliability Software Engineer – Elite fintech Salary: $130,000 – $200,000Location: Montreal, Canada
Are you a Software Engineer with a passion for performance, stability, and reliability? This is your opportunity to join a leading systematic trading firm, where you’ll develop reliability features, optimize system performance, and build automation tools to ensure seamless operations. What You’ll Be Doing:Enhance system reliability by improving stability, recovery, and scalability.Implement observability tools to monitor system performance and ensure data-driven decision-making.Optimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks.Build automation and tooling to minimize manual intervention and enhance efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:4+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Software Reliability.Strong development skills in Python (or similar) & version control (Git).Experience in Linux environments and infrastructure management.Experience with observability tooling like Prometheus or GrafanaUnderstanding and experience with Devops tooling is desirableExceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
