Job Overview

logoSoftware Engineer with millimeter wave radar experience to assist with development of our communications, Communications/Signals Intelligence (COM/SIGINT) and radar solutions. Successful applicant will work with our products team on concept development, design, prototype, test, and production, focus on the development and implementation of algorithms. The software engineer will:

Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you will contribute to the success of a unique solutions team with their motivation, vision, and engineering expertiseConceive, design, prototype, test and document new software solutions for productsDeliver software engineering for custom communications, radar, and RF sensing applications for fixed, mobile and airborne (manned and unmanned) platformsProvide the products team with end-to-end software expertise, potentially including C, C++, C#, Perl, Python, Linux, Java, MATLAB, etcApply artifact version control methods and tools to all development effortsSynthesize software aspects of the entire system of a given project to include design and development. Comfortable writing Linux applications and applications designed for embedded devicesExperience writing applications that utilize serial or socket communications, or any other wired or wireless communications protocols. 60/77 GHzMillimeter (Mm) wave radarFMCW expertiseExperience with TI’s Industrial mmWave radar sensorsCHIRP set understandingUnderstanding of AI/MLApply engineering best-practices tailored to an agile development environmentOccasionally travel needed for testing and demonstration

Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor or Master of Science in relevant software engineering discipline, though equivalent experience/education/certification may be consideredDemonstrated high performer and at least 7years of experience in with varied programming languages (e.g., C, C++, C#, Linux, etc.), to include a strong background in scripting (e.g., Perl, Python, etc.) and modeling and simulation (e.g., MATLAB) languagesFamiliarity with version control applications (e.g., Git, SVN, etc.) and practices, and Integrated Development Environments (IDE; e.g., Eclipse)

Pay Range: $90,000 – $105,000k
