Software Development Engineer – QA – ON-SITE

Job Overview

As part of the QA Engineering Team focusing on tech, you will work on building and optimizing the testing processes through automation and tooling. You will ensure product quality by automating both aspects of QA, that is functional & non-functional testing and performing manual validation when required. You will be actively collaborating with the Product Management, Developer, Project Management & Data Analytics/Engineering functions to play a vital role in growing our products and scaling our platform.If you have good programming experience and are passionate about software testing, continuous delivery, and solving problems with a very customer-focused team, we’d love to hear from you!
Roles and Responsibilities:Own what you build: Take ownership of application reliability & performance, speed of release, and test-planning.Build, maintain and improve the QA automation infrastructure.Understand the systems, technologies, and how they work together to achieve a common business goal.Research on QA tools, methodologies and trends.
Must have:B.E / B.tech degree in computer science or equivalent.Understanding of QA methodologies, lifecycle and processes.2 to 4 years of experience in QA and Automation (UI and API Automation).Good problem-solving and communication skills.Proficiency in SQL.Excellent knowledge of Java/Python/JavaScript.Hands-on experience in API Testing using Postman, Swagger.Hands-on experience in automation tools such asSelenium/Appium (UI Automation)Rest Assured (API Automation)Good knowledge of Git, CircleCI/Jenkins, CI/CD, Unit-testing frameworks like Junit/TestNG.Experience in analyzing logs and debugging issues.

Good to have:Experience in BDD frameworks like Cucumber.Experience in Agile and tools like JIRA.Experience in testing apps in a microservices-based architecture.Experience in Docker and Kubernetes.Experience in performance-testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner or k6.Willingness to participate in improving existing practices and processes.
