About The Role

Demandbase is seeking creative, highly motivated, enthusiastic engineer individuals to be part of our product development team. You will work in a fast paced agile environment to build and deliver key features of the application. Our technology stack is primarily in Java/Javascript and while experience with these languages is great, it’s not a necessity. InsideView engineering focuses on fundamentals, not the tools/languages that you already know.

What You’ll Be Doing

Design and implement highly scalable features which help solve Sales and Marketing related problems for companies all around the worldHelp junior engineers in writing high quality and extremely efficient codeWork with experienced Architects and Principal Engineers in ways to improve the architecture using latest technologies and libraries along with AWS Cloud ProductsWork closely with Product Management to understand customer needs and convert them into technical solutionsDevelop unit tests and participate in creation of automated tests alongside testing team to continuously improve test coverage and software reliabilityContribute to organization standards and best practices, along with automation improvements in our CI/CD pipelines

Skills & Education

Keen interest to learn new skill sets and ability to learn new technologies, software, and concepts quicklyStrong knowledge of REST APIs and robust Microservices ArchitectureExperience with any NoSQL DatabaseStrong knowledge about Java 11+, Spring, Hibernate, any DBMS.Good knowledge on testing frameworks – JUnit, Mockito, Test-Driven Development (TDD) is plusStrong understanding of data structures and algorithms, design patterns andObject-oriented programming conceptsExcellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with others in small, high-performance teamsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant/equivalent technical discipline

Experience

2 – 4 years of experience preferably in software product companies2+ years of experience in designing & developing scalable web applications
