You’ll analyze the needs of users and the target environments to ensure solutions are developed consistent with current architecture. Seeking Senior-Level Java Software Development professionals (8+ Years Development Experience) with Spring Framework experience.

Responsibilities include:

Develop and maintain software. Implement highly scalable components and reliable web application functionality in a high traffic transactional web-based data environmentDevelop and maintain thorough and automated unit test harnesses for developed solutionsWork in a cross-functional software development team (scrum masters, product owners, software engineers, automation test engineers)Follow Agile Software Engineering and development practicesProvide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team

Requirements

Qualified candidates need:

Experience with Java Enterprise Application Design and DevelopmentProven experience in leading and mentoring a team of developersExperience with Service Oriented Architecture concepts and enabling technologySoftware development skills, including design, development, testing, deployment, and supportExperience in debugging and correcting errors in computer programs. Experience using Java Spring FrameworkExperience using system architecture and object-oriented software design, REST, SOAP Web Services, and SOA architecture, Java, JavaScript, AngularJS, jQuery, Spring, RDBMS (Oracle, SQL), JPA/Hibernate and Java EEWorking knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsOutstanding communication skills needed to work with diverse team in geographically dispersed environments Candidates must have at a minimum a bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronic engineering, or other engineering/technical discipline. ** Alternatively, 8 additional years of experience may be used to substitute for the education requirementCandidates must be able to pass a US Government background investigation as a condition of employment
