About The Role
We are Procure Ai, a market leader in bringing artificial intelligence and automation to the procurement process with the goal to unlock massive savings for our clients by having a high-value procurement function. We are a remote team of experienced tech and business professionals, based in Germany, UK and France. While we enjoy collaborating remotely (and so should you), we come together for regular team offsites in Europe. We are now recruiting for an experienced Software Engineer (Data & DevOps) (m/f/d) with a strong data and DevOps focus for further growth.
You will join a team of experienced senior engineers who are committed to creating intelligent software & developing code that helps make procurement more efficient. You will work on developing features for our existing software platform, for new products and creating code that integrates with third-party platforms. Our tech stack includes (but is not limited to) Python, Go, Typescript, Spark, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure, React, Node.js.
Please note: since this is an individual contributor role, it is important you are aware of & comfortable with this setting in a remote work environment.
Impact & Ownership
Develop key components of our intelligent data platform for procurement in close collaboration with the team. Build scalable, severless data ingestion pipelines from structured and unstructured data. Combine data engineering with backend development to transform ingested data into our procurement data graph.Shape the core of our solution and work closely with our customers.
Requirements
You have a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering or a related field.Proven experience in data engineering (at least 3 years).You are advanced in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Go, JavaScript, Typescript.You are proficient in Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.You have experience in building automated data ETL/ELT pipelines (e.g. Apache Airflow, Apache Spark, Databricks), quality assessment and data streams (e.g. AWS Kinesis).You worked with Kafka, K8s, PostgresYou are experienced with different database and data warehouse concepts and have a good understanding of data modelling approaches.You are a friendly, team-oriented problem solver and self-starter who enjoys working in a role with lots of impact.
Extra Credits
You have experience with graph databases or graph implementations in NoSQL setups.You have experience to assess data quality with ML based algorithms.You have hands-on experience with cloud development on AWS.
