Location: Glendale, LA – hybrid schedule, 3 days onsite

Compensation Expectation : $70 – 90/hr

What You’ll Do As a Front End Engineer:

Play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying software solutions that enable visual effects artists, production teams, and executives across all the Studio’s banners to creatively and efficiently tell their stories Collaborating closely with a team of skilled engineers and subject matter experts, you will contribute to building robust applications that drive our creative endeavors forward You will be instrumental in building applications across various platforms, including the Apple Vision Pro, all with the goal of helping our Studio make our films Collaborate with a team of software engineers and subject matter experts to design, build, test, and deploy software solutions for production workflows Work with fellow engineers to create smooth, efficient, and dynamic user experiences Prioritize and estimate work within an agile scrum process using user stories Troubleshoot issues and implement defect fixes

Qualifications:

You could be a great fit if you have:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience 3+ years of industry experience Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript / ReactJS or similar front end framework. Knowledge and experience using source control and CI tools such as GitLab and GitHub Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills Preferred : Familiarity with databases, including PostgreSQL. Experience in working with Cloud Platforms, particularly AWS or Azure Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
