Design and build performant, beautiful, and usable interfacesFoster a culture of upholding industry-leading UXCollaborate with cross-functional teams to solve customer needsContinuously improve our engineering processes, tools, and systems to allow us to scale the code base, productivity, and teamRecruit, interview, and develop interview questions while fostering a culture of excellence, velocity, and humilityInspire and mentor less experienced engineers and interns

Successful Candidates Will Demonstrate

3+ years of frontend engineering experiencePerformance motivated by delivering customer valueExperience leading large multi-quarter efforts demonstrating tangible customer or business impactPassion for user experience and design and an understanding of front-end architectureExperience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or VueJs/Ember)Knowledge of (and a passion for) current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, accessibility, security, and usabilityPrior experience in an early-stage startup environment is a plus

This position may be remote, hybrid, or in-person. Treehouse maintains office locations in San Francisco and Chicago.
