Software Engineer – Gameplay Responsibilities:

Build tech, tools and pipelines for generating very high quality digital representations of peopleArchitect and implement efficient and reusable systems that drive animation in complex real-time cross-platform applicationsSet a high-quality bar to make our technology easy and delightful for developers to useCreate high-quality, well optimized, and maintainable codeCollaborate with other engineers, product managers, designers, artists, and user researchers to deliver innovative mixed reality and flat-screen products

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.Demonstrated experience with C++Experience as an engineer building and shipping features within 3D real-time interactive engines (Unity 3D, Unreal, or other/proprietary)Experience in object-oriented and component-based design experienceRequired understanding of 3D math and linear algebraRequired problem-solving and capacity to communicate technical concepts

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with character animation and behavior technology and pipelinesUnderstanding of and experience with video game physicsExperience with C# or similar programming languagesExperience delivering AAA GamesExperience with development for virtual reality (Rift, Quest, VIVE, Gear VR, etc.)Experience working across a mixed technology stack that includes C/C++ componentsExperience with performance optimization of real-time applicationsPreferred understanding and sense of empathy for VR users and developers
